My family first camping trip here by the lake. It was beautiful 😍. We had a wonderful time. It was a little crowded but we met many great campers. The lake was so pretty at sunset and sunrise. We'll definitely go back. The staffs were super nice and accommodating. …
Very nice park with very clean restroom with showers. Plenty of tables to choose from with BBQ pits. They have boating, fishing, paddle boats, life guard for swimming, camping with plenty of parking, dog park and ok out of dog park but must be on a leash.
Great recreational area, plenty of picnic tables and BBQ all around, RV and camping area, fishing, paddle boarding etc. RV dump station. Pedal boat and kayak rentals next to the small beach. Awesome/surreal views of the Rancho Seco Decomissioned Nuclear Plant and the new SMUD solar farms. Great for families and children.
We were there 2 nights and 3 days. It was a hot couple of days but the water helped. Beach area is too small and gets really crowded. Things aren't the norm there right now because of the COVID-19 restrictions. The person that patrols the park throughout the night was a bit of a d*&k. Power mad!
First time being at the park and the scenery is beautiful! Sadly the nature trails were closed due to covid-19 but just sitting on the grass with a blanket taking in the beautiful view of the mountains and the lake
Very quiet park. Well maintained facilities. Pretty nice view of the cooling towers from any picnic bench near the water as well.
Very well maintained and stocked lake right outside Sacramento. A hidden little gem with RV, tent, and group sites. There's a store with all the supplies you'd need and boat rentals (no gas engines allowed). The swimming area is very small though and can get crowded. Prices are reasonable too.
We are the camphost at Rancho seco 2021 season. We take care of campers and day users so come on out for BBQ and beach!!
Been going there for years, they've done allot of upgrades over there year. Great for relaxing and swimming. Prices have gone up, 12$ for daily parking
Long, quiet and breezy hiking trail with water access. Unfortunately, no swimming is allowed.
